Ditra has been a life saver; I don’t know what I would have done without her. I contacted her about an event that I had coming up. I had no idea how to promote this event, get it out to the media, or what would be my first steps. I met with Ditra, and she listened to me and what I was trying to get accomplished. I felt at ease knowing that I could put the media aspect of my event in her hands. I saw immediate results after our meeting; through her attention to detail, professionalism, and promptness. Not only that but her work speaks for itself; she did a press release for my event, and the very same day that it was released I received calls and emails from people wanting to be involved with my event. Ditra Miller was instrumental in the promoting of the non-profit project Classical Music Across Cultures. The CMAC Project brought in world renown Sphinx Virtuosi, an all-Black/Latino orchestra, as part of the United Arts Council of Greensboro’s 17 Days Festival in 2011. Ditra worked tirelessly setting up radio interviews, social media, web design, press releases, custom email design, reception invitation design, banner design, fund raising and much more. Her efforts resulted in a hugely successful project that included helping raise $20,000 to fund the project as well as organize a welcoming reception at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum, a series of in-school concerts for Guilford County Schools, a master class at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a free workshop for students at Greensboro’s Cultural Arts Center and a beautifully organized, well attended concert at Aycock Auditorium. Ditra is professional, organized and personable. She is attentive to details and yet she is a visionary able to see the “big picture”. I highly recommend Ditra.
Ditra submits awesome ideas for my show. She’s always up-to-date on top headlines and she finds a way to tailor her submissions for our viewers. As a result, our shows get extra content you can’t find on any other station. Ditra understands how news works which will make the producer’s job so much more easier especially in a busy newsroom. Ditra is a talented and creative leader and administrator with quality skill sets in interpersonal communications, public speaking, and attention to detail. Among her greatest talents is in business/social network communications, where her web/internet and media skills and knowledge allow her to enhance any business, group or organization via grass-roots and/or electronic promotions. Her quick-study skills and easy grasp of new technology also allow her to train others in said technology at high levels. I recommend her for consideration in virtually any business level with no reservations.
